Who’s Living Unsettled This Week: Rob Earp
Unsettled is a truly co-created experience. Every week, we like to highlight participants who are part of creating our experiences at destinations around the world, and share their story. This week, meet Rob who’s in Buenos Aires with us.
I’m a true digital nomad. I’m full-time RV in the USA but I also spend a couple of months of each year abroad, sometimes with the help of Unsettled!
I wear many hats – I’m a digital marketing strategist, a campaign manager. I also assist in customized reporting geared towards business intel.
Experiences and relationships. For me, two things have enhanced in my life in recent years: being a digital nomad, and immersing myself in Spanish and hispanic culture, however I can.
I’m a coffee and whisky snob.
WHY DID YOU JOIN UNSETTLED?
On my first anniversary as a digital nomad, I set a goal of living abroad for two months. But I worried about providing myself the living and working conditions that would allow me to make the most of my time away, while also being productive in my work. I read about Unsettled in The New York Times and knew instantly that they understood my situation and had built a business to meet my needs and help fulfil my goals. This was important because previously I’d thought of myself as being alone. The article made me realize Unsettled would connect me with a community of people like myself from around the world.
Living Unsettled to me means answering these questions: are you here for work or pleasure? The answer is: I’m here for Unsettled. Unsettled means living and working to the fullest. It means enhancing both the personal and professional, simultaneously.
