In honor of World Poetry Day, we put our rhyming muscles to test and reflected on all the ways that Unsettled participants travel to and across our locations around the world. It’s remarkable how this community has traveled just about every imaginable way that you can on our retreats. Here are a few of our favorite examples, and for World Poetry Day, here they are in verse!

Oh, the Places You’ll Go, remember that book?
Dr. Seuss got us thinking,
about the transport we took.
We’ve been off to great places,
by bike, camel, and bus.
How do we get from A to B?
Keep rhyming with us…

1. By Horseback (Medellin – August & September)

Horseback riding is a favorite
We’ve trailed up mountains for epic rides.
There’s nothing quite like exploring,
With majestic creatures as your guides.

2. By Bicycle (Barcelona – July)

Barcelona’s built for biking,
So we become two-wheelers too.
In between tapas, Gaudi, and salsa,
We’re cruising to that secret view.

3. By Foot (Tuscany – May & June)

Mindful strolls through olive groves
In our Tuscan paradise,
To ancient roads that end with pizza,
Is doppio as nice!

4. By Motorbike & Standup Paddle Board (Bali – May, June, July & August)

On land and sea we’re living,
Island time’s our status quo.
Even while we’re cruising on that moto,

5. By Sailboat, Pirate Ship, and Boat (British Virgin Islands – May & The Amazon – July)

Hidden treasure’s all around us,
From the Islands to Peru.
One with the wind and flowing waters,

When we roll in with the locals,
You’ll hear us round the bends.
Four-wheeling through the neighborhoods
