Unsettled is a truly co-created experience. Every week, we like to highlight participants who are part of creating our experiences at destinations around the world, and share their story. This week, meet Kimberley who’s in Marrakech with us.
Montreal, Canada. Although I have spent the past few months in Sevilla, Spain.
I’m a writer, and I also teach English as Second Language.
Traveling, learning and living life to the fullest.
Making people see the positive side of almost anything, and guess what, all it takes is a little humor!
WHY DID YOU JOIN UNSETTLED?
After a rough past few years of being overworked, stressed and unhappy, I knew I needed a change. A long sick leave made me realize how short life really is… so, I quit my 9-5 job as a social media and content marketing writer and decided to go on a quest to live a more meaningful life. I joined Unsettled in Marrakech because I wanted to take the time to work on some personal projects in an inspiring environment. I also wanted to take advantage of this great opportunity to discover what it really means to live an “Unsettled” lifestyle and re-evaluate my career. On top of that, it’s amazing that I get to do that surrounded by like-minded people who share my passion for learning and traveling, and who are adventurous enough to explore Marrakech!
“Being Unsettled means being more settled and in control of your freedom and happiness. And in the last 30 days I’ve realized, it also means much more traveling!”
