where is your team getting their inspiration from?
Since day 1, we have been on a hunt for meaning, motivation, and diverse perspectives. Many people know Unsettled as a travel coworking company – but what we really are is a “new perspective” company. Since our inception, we’ve understood the value of new ideas, unusual perspectives, and life-changing experiences that can come from traveling the world, meeting new people, and exploring new perspectives. Yes, those things are often found on the road, but over the years we’ve found many ways to bring inspiration, ideas, and insightful experiences to you, wherever you are!
“In a culture obsessed with measuring talent and ability, we often overlook the important role of inspiration. Inspiration awakens us to new possibilities by allowing us to transcend our ordinary experiences and limitations.”
INFUSE YOUR TEAM WITH INSPIRATION, MOTIVATION,
& FRESH PERSPECTIVES
We deliver thought-provoking, inspiring, and engaging keynotes, presentations, and team-building sessions on a wide range of topics and curated content, all designed to elevate your meeting, conference, plenary session, breakout room, zoom gathering, and more.
Unsettled original talks, events, and live sessions are fully customizable to inspire groups large and small – ranging from intimate group discussions to interactive all-hands depending on your needs. And of course, they are always curated to be fully aligned with your company values, messaging, and event themes.
Relevant across industries and offered virtually and in-person, Unsettled speakers and sessions give your audience a sense of possibility, inspiration, and motivation grounded in the specific context of your event.

“Life is an adventure into the unknown. Knowing how to be intentional and navigate towards what you want next may be the most fundamental tool you ever learn.”
Inspired Team Meetings
New Ideas. Important Messages. Time to Connect.
Meeting fatigue is one of the top complaints we hear from remote teams. Let us help you clarify your purpose, increase engagement, and make boring meetings a thing of the past.
Team time is important time. A study by Steven Rogelberg, of the University of North Carolina, and colleagues showed that how workers feel about the effectiveness of meetings correlates with their general work satisfaction or dissatisfaction with their jobs.
We create team meetings that level up your time together. From digging into pressing questions at the heart of your work, to focused sessions facilitating deep work, productive creativity, and idea sharing, we are experts at creating meeting time that puts your valuable team space to good use.
We support all elements of meeting production for remote and virtual gatherings including:
- Session design
- Agenda preparation
- Content and messaging development
- Tech and logics
- Hosting and facilitation
- Hands on exercises
- Conversation moderation
- Guest speaker management
Working Group: Leaders Community Design Session
The regional arm of a Fortune 50 company recently engaged with Remote Labs to lead a design session for their leadership development working group. Over the space of a 2-hour workshop, we guided the working group on how to build community within their group of 300+ regional leaders and managers. The content addressed challenges, resources, desired impacts, and resulted in four collaboratively created proposed solutions to be implemented by the working group going forward.
Peer-to-peer growth. Meaningful Conversations. Collective Discovery.
Get past the idea of networking and get real with genuine connections, shared fun, and group learning. Our gatherings bring interactive opportunities to learn new skills, share ideas, and explore concepts right to you with easy virtual sessions.
We lead live virtual talks, workshops, skillshares, themed conversations, productivity sessions, and more, all crafted to inspire a sense of discovery and community.
As company and team wide experiences, these are unique chances to let your participants step out of their routines, uncover new ideas, and engage in meaningful conversations that broaden their personal and professional perspectives and help them connect as an organization.
Hosted and led by Unsettled, events and sessions are designed to be interactive and engaging and can involve community members as well as expert guests, novel themes, and plenty of variety, including pre and post session materials such as custom media, landing pages, and original curriculum.

The Power Of Play: An Unsettled Remote Labs Collaboration
The R&D branch of a Fortune 10 company worked with us to create and host a half-day virtual team learning event built around understanding and exploring the original theme of “The Power of Play”. We brought in outside authors, psychologists, and even the founder of a creativity-focused NGO to speak on the importance of play in our daily lives, and its surprising connection to creativity, productivity, and positive work engagement. Unsettled facilitated a hands-on virtual survival game to help employees better understand their teamwork and leadership styles. The event was open to the fully remote team of 600, spread across the US, and was used to unlock knowledge, build new connections, and open insights related to the innovation needs that were top of mind for this team.

Addressing Remote Work Burnout: Fireside Chat with Rahaf Harfoush, Digital Anthropologist and Best Selling Author.
Our obsession with productivity — back to back zoom meetings, endless to-do-lists, and all hours email — is actually making us less productive and less creative, says digital anthropologist Rahaf Harfoush. In her engaging session, she explains why we need to redesign our workday for more creativity and redefine what it really takes to be productive in the hybrid work era.
Rahaf Harfoush is a Strategist, Digital Anthropologist, and Best-Selling Author who focuses on the intersections between emerging technology, innovation, and digital culture. She is the Executive Director of the Red Thread Institute of Digital Culture and her latest book is Hustle & Float: Reclaim Your Creativity and Thrive in a World Obsessed with Work.
WHAT WE TAKE CARE OF
The Remote Labs makes it easy, from building out your events agendas, identifying speakers, and running the content when it’s show time…
Make Scheduling a Breeze
We work with your leadership to schedule events and meetings as you need them. We use your technology to invite, manage, and support your team members. Each event we work with comes with micro-websites to bring a little “umph” to your team.
This is our special sauce. We always make room for your team to have meaningful dialogue, before, during, and after each event. We view your team as experts and assets, who, if we engage as full participants, they’re more likely to feel seen and heard as valuable team members.
Speakers, Facilitators, and Live Content
The Remote Labs works with unparalleled experts in a range of fields from anthropology to ethics in tech. Our team is not of the ordinary or expected type of facilitators. We work with authentic individuals who bring diverse, life experience to your meetings.
In-Person, Remote, or Hybrid
The Remote Labs runs meetings and events that range from in-person gatherings for a dozen team members to remote team wide meetings for hundreds and teams that split attendance between in-person and remote.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING…
One of the most powerful communities I’ve encountered, and the fact that they do it virtually is extraordinary. Having done an in person Unsettled retreat, I was shocked at how they were able to replicate the magic, insight, energy, and community through a remote experience.
Unsettled has developed their on unique program (and believe me, I have done many) that helps you very quickly connect with what’s important to you and get real clarity around where you want to go. I would highly recommend their programs for anyone who feels “unsettled” with their current work or lifestyle, and is looking for that insight, spark, inspiration, or clarity.
The Unsettled experience is like venturing into the unknown. You have no idea how the experience or people you’ll meet will be… but that unknown proves to be a very rewarding experience. You’ll leave Unsettled richer. Richer in the memories you create and the connections you make. Worth every minute.
WE ARE EXPERTS IN
NAVIGATING THE UNKNOWN
Every good journey begins with a question.
In 2016, Unsettled was founded on a simple question:
Given what’s newly possible in the world, how can we best design our lives and work?
Since then, as a company, we have set out to explore the many possible ways to answer this important question.
Along the way, we have developed a unique community-building process and approach that empowers people to understand and adapt to the rapidly changing landscape of how life and work come together, and re-design their lives and work for more growth, meaning, and adventure.
Today, we have a rigorous methodology and real-world expertise in designing, facilitating, and delivering world-class experiential programming for both teams and individuals that have led to:
International co-working experiences in over 25 countries and virtually around the world, for thousands of people representing diverse professional backgrounds from Netflix producers and scientists to founders of high-growth startups and Fortune 100 executives.
Design awards from the United Nations, Skift Travel, and recognition in publications such as The New York Times, the BBC, FastCompany, CNN, and more.
A global community of multicultural professionals who are actively redefining how we live, work, and grow in the twenty-first century.
A unique voice in leading the future of work rooted in real world experience and meaningful human connection.
