What’s Your Dream Side Project?

We’re running a Side Project Bootcamp this summer.

Every dreamer has a side project they’re waiting to start.

Whether it’s the book you’ve been meaning to write or the craft goods business you’ve been wanting to launch, the hardest part is always the same:

Where do you find the momentum to start?

Your exact project doesn’t matter as much as you may think, but getting the wind at your back on a side project can be transformative.

Join us this summer for a 6-week bootcamp designed to turn your ideas into reality.

A 6-WEEK BOOTCAMP TO BUILD MOMENTUM ON YOUR SIDE PROJECT.

So, what’s your side project?

Why Unsettled?

Unsettled facilitates transformative experiences for creatives, founders, and entrepreneurs in a deeply co-creative style.

That philosophy is just as true whether we are living in Bali for a month, exploring the depths of the Amazon rainforest, or breaking through creative blocks in this digital bootcamp.

Moreover, we believe wholeheartedly that starting a small but mighty side project can change lives. It intrinsically carries the potential to grow into something that changes your life or your community.

This is exactly how we started Unsettled.

Frequently Asked Questions

When and where do we meet each week?

We meet ONCE  per week in a 90-minute life workshop.

All of our community sessions take place virtually on Zoom.

We meet most Thursdays at 12:00 PM (Noon) Eastern Time / 5:00 PM London / 9:00 PM Dubai.

The bootcamp officially kicks off on Thursday, July 2nd. Most sessions are recorded and uploaded to a shared resource hub, so if you have a scheduling conflict or travel during the program, you can catch up on your own time.

The bootcamp ends on August 13th.

Why is Unsettled running a Side Project Bootcamp?

At our core, Unsettled facilitates transformative experiences for creatives, founders, and entrepreneurs in a deeply co-creative fashion. That philosophy is just as true whether we are living together in Bali for a month, exploring the depths of the Amazon rainforest, or breaking through creative blocks in this digital bootcamp.

The Side Project Bootcamp takes our global community framework and applies it directly to your personal goals. It is a structured, 6-week virtual sprint designed to help you find momentum, gain peer feedback, and finally breathe life into the project you’ve been putting off.

Who is this bootcamp designed for?

This is for creatives and entrepreneurs who are sitting on an unlaunched idea. Whether you are a writer looking to start a book, a creative launching a freelance studio, an entrepreneur designing a handmade goods business, or an artist mapping out a new collection, if you have a project that needs momentum, you belong.

How much time do I need to commit each week?

That’s totally up to you! How much time will it take for you to hit your goal?

We design our programs to fit into a busy, modern lifestyle. You should expect to dedicate about 3 to 4 hours per week to the program. This includes our structured live connection sessions that are typically 90 minutes, curated peer check-ins, and some light independent time dedicated entirely to making progress on your project (though this last part can range from an hour per week to 10+, depending on what you’re after).

What makes Unsettled different from a traditional online course?

We don’t do boring, passive lectures. Unsettled is built entirely on co-creation and community. You aren’t just downloading worksheets and watching recordings; you are actively collaborating, exchanging feedback, and building alongside a curated, global network of driven peers who keep you accountable every step of the way.

What happens if I miss a live session?

Life happens, and our community spans multiple time zones! While we highly encourage attending live to get the full collaborative experience, all of our core community sessions and resource materials will be recorded and accessible in our digital hub so you never miss a beat.

What is the price, and what is the deadline to join?
  • Early Bird Rate: $345 (Available through June 5th)

  • Standard Rate: $455 (June 5th – June 15th)

Applications close strictly on June 15th so we can finalize our curated peer groups and prepare for onboarding.

What are the community guidelines?

We’re a global, diverse, and unpretentious bunch — and we like to keep it that way.

Our community thrives on mutual respect, curiosity, and generosity of spirit. Whether you’re joining a workshop, posting in the forum, or meeting someone 1:1, we ask that you show up with openness, humility, and a willingness to listen and learn.

There’s no room here for hate, discrimination, or ego-driven behavior. We’re building something intentional, and that means protecting the culture that makes this community meaningful.

We’ll share the full community guidelines during onboarding, but that’s the heart of it.

What are some examples of side projects? And what if I’m not sure what mine is?

To get the most out of this specific 6-week experience, we require all participants to apply with a clear idea of what they want to work on. Because this is an action-oriented sprint rather than an ideation brainstorming class, you need a defined target to build real momentum.

Your project doesn’t need to be perfect, but it does need to be specific. Here are a few examples of excellent side projects for this bootcamp:

  • Writing & Content: Drafting the first three chapters of a novel, launching a targeted Substack newsletter, or scriptwriting a podcast pilot.

  • Entrepreneurship: Designing an e-commerce storefront for a handmade goods business, mapping out a business plan for a freelance consulting practice, or building a prototype for an app.

  • Creative & Artistic: Creating a cohesive 10-piece art portfolio, designing a capsule clothing collection, or editing a short film.

  • Personal Growth: Designing a customized fitness curriculum, organizing a community workshop series, or building a personal branding website.

Still unsure? Take an afternoon to narrow down your top ideas to the one thing that excites you the most—or the one you’ve been procrastinating on the longest. Apply with that specific concept, and we’ll help you refine the execution strategy from day one.

What else do I need to know?

This is a side project bootcamp, not a side hustle culture. We do not subscribe to hustle culture, grinding 24/7, or building things just to flip them for a quick profit. We are here to focus on creativity and meaningful personal momentum.

Because we build in a co-creative ecosystem, our expectations of participants are high:

  • Show up and respect each other: We expect everyone to bring their full presence to our sessions.

  • Listen before you speak: This is a space for thoughtful collaboration, not self-promotion.

  • Give as much as you take: You are expected to contribute to your peers’ ideas, offer constructive feedback, and support their journeys just as much as you receive support for your own.

More than 5,000 purpose-driven professionals have been part of Unsettled since 2016 — exploring new ways to live, work, and thrive.
